today combined two of my favorite things: driving and photography. i drove back roads that i don't normally travel. they're low traffic, so i was able to just stop & shoot photos when i wanted, plus the good old shooting out the window as i drove. i did that with april in the car yesterday. she didn't pee her pants so it couldn't have been too scary. and i'm getting better at aiming without looking through the view finder. surely that skill will come in handy someday.

i updated my pc tonight. among the best results: i just surfed through 6 xanga sites, and ie did not crash even once. also good: i can now comment on xanga sites from my pc instead of having to fire up the ibook. nothing to complain about: i gained an icon for my ftp client, so it no longer looks generic and rejected on my desktop.
